Kelly, the creator of Paint Within™ Raised-Line Art, came up with the one-of-a-kind idea when her husband bought a UV 3D printer and some ceramic tiles to test on around the same time she was launching her Traveling Art Cart mobile art studio service. Testing out projects for fun, she wanted to sketch designs on the ceramic tiles and offer them through her new business, however the texture lended some difficulties so she came up with the idea to 3D print a white outline onto the tile instead, making painting the design easier and less intimidating for others.This idea completely changed what she was going to offer as well as the stucture of her new business, making it a unique painting experience for all ages to enjoy!

Kelly, the owner of Traveling Art Cart lives in Pittsford, NY along with her family of 3 kids, husband, a wolf-looking dog and a very lazy turtle. An entrepreneur, she was the owner of Fable Kids Creative Studio in Mendon, NY. Kelly grew up in a very artistic family; her mom - a self-trained acrylic artist and her father is a creative whom also designed and hand-made primitive furniture for over 20 years.

She came up with the name - Traveling Art Cart when she would literally just take her entire 3-tiered art cart from her art studio, shove it in the back of her minivan- filled to the brim with paints and brushes to off-site painting parties. Lugging the rattling cart through parking lots, up and down stairs reminding her of the book, The Sisiterhood of the Traveling Pants each time. Hence brewed up the name, The Traveling Art Cart.

You can catch Kelly reading a captivating book, writing, taking still-life photos of the local flora or hiking somewhere out on the trails with her family and dog...the turtle, remember, is just too lazy.
